Welcome to 2013!! Here’s my first lettering of the New Year. I took a portion of my sketch from the last post and gave it the Illustrator/Photoshop treatment. After I vectorized the drawing (NOT auto-traced!), I used my sister’s favorite color “purple” to create a nice gradient in Photoshop. I plan to do more of this in the months to come—Please, if you like it “pin” it!
Here are the completed hand drawn table numbers. Once drawn they were outlined with black ink and filled in with silver metallic gouache.
I have made a decision to stick with WordPress not only for my blog, but also for my website. I am going with a sleek minimalistic look so that the hand lettering and design always take center stage.
